I used to convert the flac files to mp3 to use in mp3 players mainly for use in the car. Then I am done with the CDs, but DW or DS take them and play them occasionally. I had this problem when I used an MP3 player for audio books. Either way, you need to remember to turn the MP3 player off when you get out of your car or it will continue to play. If you have an old MP3 player that doesn't have bluetooth, you can connect with an aux cable. Rip your CDs to MP3 files and load them onto the MP3 player. If you don't have a smartphone or it doesn't have a lot of memory, you can buy a bluetooth-enabled MP3 player.

Is it a smartphone? If so, and if you really want to listen to your CDs, you will need to rip them into MP3 format and load them onto your phone.
